The G103 Twin II (a.k.a the Twin Astir II) is the successor of the original G103 Twin Astir with a nose wheel and a fixed six-inch main gear fitted behind the center of gravity - The main wheel is equipped with a hydraulic brake. Modified ailerons produce a substantially improved roll response compared to the previous model. Approach control is by top surface Schempp-Hirth type airbrakes. The G103A Twin II Acro variant features strengthened main spar caps and steel control pushrods which permit greater aerobatic performance. The Royal Air Force acquired 100 Acro's (known as the Viking TX.1) for its Air Cadet training program. The G103 also has a FAA approved modification kit for all-hand control for handicapped operation.
A total of 549 were produced, including 100 Viking TX.1s for the UK Armed Forces before it was succeeded in production by the G103C Twin III in 1989. (Source Wikipedia)

Now this kit is a semi scale reproduction at 1:6.5. It is nice all purpose glider, that allows aero towing , winching and electric conversion.

This TWIN III ACRO will make wonder in flat land flying, towed or equipped with a brushless motor or even at the slope. The flight is soft and pleasant; basic aerobatics are a treat for the eyes and… for the thumbs!

Fly it without moderation!

Delivered with all the parts required to reproduce the cockpit as the real one.

The servos are easy to install thanks a through out thought design of the kit.
Moreover they are placed very close to the control surfaces, allowing precise controls, without backlash.

Wings are ready to receive our optional electric airbrakes. Very easy to install, no additional servo needed. Only two screws will hold them in place, that simple.

Last but not least, here our revolutionary electric conversion kit, that allows to convert this scale glider into an electric powered glider, without cutting the nose off! From glider to electric in just a few seconds.

..and motor and battery pack remain in place for the balance or the airplane and the receiver is still fed by the battery pack via the BEC controller!
