The Antares 20E is a high performance open class glider. We at ICARE are very proud to offer here a (1:3) scale reproduction of this very high performance glider.

With a span of 6.6 meters this 1:3 scale Antares 20E is a very fine scale glider. The model has been made in a full carbon version, hollow molded for maximal torsional stiffness. All moulds CNC machined and takes over building techniques from the F3B category. Chosen airfoil has been is optimized for GPS triangle racing, but the airframe has excellent handling for thermal flying, and low speed. The cockpit comes finished with with instrument mushrooms complete with instruments. Scale retract is installed. All that remains for the builder to do is add a scale pilot for complete realism.

This glider comes completely built, and ready for radio installation. Only a few hours are required, before you go to the field. The moulded wings are very stiff. Because to the thin airfoil, they come with a double carbon lay-up, and an optional UHM version is possible for increased stiffness. Airbrakes are installed and ready to be connected by the mean of a mini servo. Ailerons and flaps are live hinged ready to hook up. The high gloss, gel coated Fiberglas fuselage has the wing joiner carrying tubes, the rudder and elevator installed. The cockpit comes with all main components like the instrument mushrooms, seats, head rests done. Canopy comes fitted. Landing retractable wheel comes are installed and ready to work, like the tow release. A small package hardware and short building instructions are completing the kit. If you would like to venture into large scale gliders this Antares 20E is a must!

Radio requirements are:

- Aero tow system: 1x standard servo.
Ailerons: 2x micro servo (for example servo JR-DS378 ).
- Flaps: 4x micro servo (for example servo JR-DS378).
- Airbrakes: 2x standard servo (15mm thick).
- Rudder: 1x standard servo.
- Elevator: 1x standard servo.
- Landing gear: 1x standard servo.

Complete marking on fuselage and wing made in the molds.
