 The
HP 220 series motors are brushless motors with integrated
gear. The motors form a very smart alternative to the direct drive. They
are built with four or six pole rotor, combined with different rotor
length and winds allows to adapt the motor to different current and voltage
application. The planetary gearbox comes with high quality
needle bearing. Competition motors, F5B type, come with gearboxes that
are fitted with ball bearings. The Kevlar wound
rotor permits the geared motors to withstand speeds up to 70.000 rpm
trouble-free. Other special features are the hardened 6mm shaft, quadruple
bearings and neodymium magnets. The motors of this series are
particularly suited for high performance limited motor run.
The HP 220/20/A2 P4 with either 5:1 or 7:1 gearbox are great motor for
8-12 cells LMR. An other outstanding motor is the HP
220/20/A3 P4 5:1. The optimal operating range of this motor
is between 25 to 50 A and therefore has a very wide application range
suited for many sport projects.
