The de Havilland
D.H.100 Vampire (originally also called:
Spidercrab) was an English jet fighter from the WWII. Built
from wood and and metal it was characterized by its twin tail
boom. Over 4400 units were built and they were used till in the
late 60's as training jets.
This
Vampire
depron model is made out from CNC technology, from color printed
3 mm Depron parts and available in in four interesting color
schemes to choose from.
Even with its size of of 23"
wingspan, all up weight of 100g (3.5oz) can easily be achieved.
Equipped with the stock 50mm GWS electric ducted fan on two
cells 3-400mAh LiPo packs that jet will provide
astonishing performance as videos below demonstrate. It will fly
indoor as well as outdoor. Flying characteristic are smooth and
and very accurate, so loops and rolls are easily achieved.
Racing is also lot of fun!
Bottom of fuselage is made out
of very durable EPP, so it will withstand many landings, even
the harder ones. Also take off from the ground on smooth surface
like indoor is possible.
