retract servo tray will solve the issue with linkage bending and
not inline linkages.
Servo can be installed flat in such a manner
that the servo horn and retract horn will move in the same
plane. Since it is often recommend to use a 180 deg travel, the
set includes a special angled aluminum clevis to have full
travel.
 In
many cases actually a less strong servo may be used as the whole
system works much more freely.
This servo tray has actually the holes premade to fit any FEMA
retract.
This servo tray will anyway fit any other retract assembly.

How often das it happen that you get a soft
control when using a ball link assembly?
With this angled aluminum clevis you will get
a very rigid inline linkage because no bending will appear in a
completely inline linkage assembly. Also this will allow to get
a full 180 deg travel in tight space. Often required with
retract, flaps or airbrakes.
With this clevis, it is, for example, also
possible to reduce the installation height for ailerons servos
as there is no more need to make bends in the linkage in order
to reach the control surface.
