Micro servos for the wings

This is a success story in full sized glider, it won the 1995 Aerobatic World championship in France. The model is a semi-scale reproduction of the famous Polish aerobatic sailplane. This model is built to the same high quality standard featured in all ICARE kits. It carries the S7012 airfoil, giving the sailplane smooth, fast and versatile flying characteristics. It is fully aerobatic, has a wide speed range, thermals well, and races well.

Two micro servos are needed for the wings. Two standard sized servos are used for the elevator and rudder, which are actuated via pushrods. You may even fit a tow release in the nose for aero towing.

The kit comes with a high quality white epoxy Fiberglas fuselage. The veneer sheeted and Fiberglas reinforced foam wings are ready to cover (ARC: almost ready to cover), and no additional work is required on the wings, except installing the wing servo. The tail surfaces are balsa sheeted foam, ready to be finished with leading edge and tip blocks. A tinted plastic canopy and a Fiberglas canopy tray is supplied as well. All wood and hardware is included to complete the model. Fully detailed instructions and building drawings are included with the kit.
