The Topaz SV2 Electric is a top-competition Electric RES. A great ship also for the Limited Altitude contest category.

After winning multiple RES competitions with the Topaz S, Skip re-designed the model to further increase it's competitiveness. To achieve these witnessed improvements, the center section has been increased by 4", the front pod has been modified into a drooping nose which improves aerodynamics and the airframe has been reinforced with more carbon thus making this the most efficient and competitive Topaz to date. The Topaz S V2 Electric uses the same wings as the Topaz S V2, but has a special designed electric fuse that accepts a wide range of power systems.

The wings are made of carbon laminated balsa ribs with a moulded Kevlar/carbon leading edge. This provides an extremely strong wing that can handle the hardest of launches. The fuse is moulded of Kevlar/carbon  with a 2.4 nose, and comes with a servo tray and ballast tube. The Topaz SV2 still arrives at a lean 35oz with out the motor installed after these improvements.

7. Ready to fly weight  35 oz!!!!!
