The Aspire is the latest design by the manufacturer of the Fazer, Victor and Eraser series. It is an other pure F3J or thermal duration (TD) glider. The novelties in this design are the use of a property AH141 airfoil by Andreas Herring, the large wingspan, and the low weight for its size.

A well balanced design using state of the art technology, yet in a completely hand made process. Lubos (the designer), likes airframes that allows him to change the in flight characteristics by the use of flaps, increasing the L/D, lift or speed. The AH airfoil was designed with this in mind, first it allows to make camber changes with minimal changes in pitch. The idea was also to fly with "dynamic" camber change, meaning that the camber control was on the stick like the elevator, allowing to continuously adjust or correct the flight like you would adjust or correct pitch with the elevator control.

Hollow core moulded wings with special bottom hinged flaps (for full 90 deg. down flaps) leads to rock stable approach and accurate landings. The AH Airfoil has a very wide speed range, it's full potential can be obtained when using full flap control over the different flight configuration: a couple of degrees down in thermal turns, a degree reflex in transition. Small changes in camber have substantial changes in behaviour. The whole model is built strong yet light achieving an average weight of around 2.35 kg.

The versatility and it's ease of use will allow aggressive competition flying as well as everyday smooth soaring.

Options available and kit contents:
Coloured strong Fiberglas fuse with carbon reinforcement tows, removable canopy and  servo tray. Tail pushrods are installed. Fuselage comes with a ballast tube, which can accept up to one pound of lead. The Aspire has an adjustable tow hook to optimize hand tows. Hollow core moulded wings are in three pieces. Center panel bolts down to the fuse and tips are connected to the center panel by means of rectangular carbon wing joiner and two locating pins. All moving parts are gapless hinged. Available in V-tail or cross tail configuration. Moulded servo cover, Allen keys for the different bolts and hardware are included.

Aspire Full Carbon has been optimized for the F3J competition. Drastically reinforced with full carbon lay-up. Construction is strengthened by adding a skin of carbon inside the wing skin full span, glass/balsa or Rohacell/carbon. This adds tremendous stiffness to the wing. The fuselage is full Kevlar/carbon construction and so very stiff as well, pushrods are also carbon and two ballast tubes on the bottom of the fuselage permits to upload with ballast for max. speed performance. It is amazing how much strength you can achieve with optimal carbon layout. This is a also a great plane for all-round flying, in particular if can fly often on the slope. This version is ideal of average day competition.

Aspire spread-tow carbon, uses a special cloth with inserted carbon tows, this helps reduce the weight and still keep a good strength. This extra light version is recommended for early morning, no wind day competition flying.
